Referring a client or patient
A discreet referral path for wealth advisors, family offices, trust and estate attorneys, executive health programs, and physician colleagues.
Why clients are referred
- A genomic or molecular report arrived and nobody explained what it actually means for treatment
- Care is spread across two or more institutions, and no one holds the complete picture
- A progression or treatment switch raises questions the next appointment is weeks away from answering
- Clinical trial questions need an eligibility-screened, records-based answer
- Adult children in different cities are coordinating care without a scientific point of contact
What a referral looks like
1. Contact Kim Lockheimer, PhD, DFM directly by email at kim@mitotics.com, describing the situation in a sentence or two. No medical records are needed at this stage, and records are never sent by email.
2. Kim speaks with the client in a free 15-minute consultation, where fit, scope, and price are settled.
3. With the client's written authorization, advisors and referring professionals receive progress updates. Without it, everything remains confidential.
Discretion and boundaries
- No referral fees or commissions, in any direction
- Independent of every testing vendor, pharmaceutical sponsor, and treatment center
- HIPAA and CMIA aligned; records move through a secure, access-controlled upload link
- Advisory, not medical care: diagnosis, prescribing, and treatment remain with treating physicians
The engagement ladder
- Initial Records Assessment, $500, credited toward a package within 30 days
- Clarity Report, $1,500
- Molecular Strategy, $3,000
- Active Case Management, from $5,000 per month
- Private Client Advisory, the concierge tier, from $10,000 per month: priority response, family briefings, second-opinion coordination, full clinical trial placement included
